"For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve..." Mark 10:45
You or your church can partner with Mike Silva International to bring the life-changing message of the Lord Jesus Christ to the not-yet-reached people throughout the world. If you would like to travel with the MSI team and serve those in need while presenting the Good News of Jesus Christ, we can use you! No matter who you are, what your abilities may be, or the languages you speak, you can play a vital role by serving with us.
Cùcuta, Colombia - March 9-15, 2027!
Cúcuta is located in northeastern Colombia on the border of Venezuela. The estimated population currently exceeds 900,000 inhabitants in its urban and metropolitan area, establishing it as one of Colombia’s most significant cities in terms of population growth and border activity. One of the city’s most defining realities is its strong migratory impact. Due to the Venezuelan humanitarian crisis, the metropolitan area of Cúcuta is home to approximately 260,000 Venezuelans, representing nearly 25%–30% of the metropolitan population. This has transformed the city into one of the principal epicenters for humanitarian care, social integration, and opportunities for spiritual and community transformation throughout Latin America.
Our mission is to WIN, DISCIPLE, and HELP the nations of Colombia and Venezuela...
*WIN SOULS- Evangelistic Festivals reach masses of people in a single location to present The Gospel message in a clear, compelling, and culturally relevant way. We also utilize speaking events and street, prison, school, and community outreaches to share the Good News with lost and searching souls. We believe the love of Christ has the power to change lives, families, communities, cities, entire countries, and ultimately, the world.
*MAKE DISCIPLES- We are passionate and committed to investing in the local Church and making disciples. We educate and train pastors, leaders, and next-generation evangelists, empowering them through The Great Commission. Our goal is to disciple and deploy leaders who then impact their communities and culture with the hope and love of Jesus. We accomplish this through world-class training events, strategic partnerships, and enriching resources.
*HELP- As Jesus Christ's hands and feet, we show compassion to those who are desperate for help by meeting critical, everyday needs. We coordinate intentional humanitarian aid projects, including food and clothing distributions, medical and dental care, anti-sex trafficking and street ministries, outreaches in schools and prisons, and freshwater well projects.
From August 2026 through March 2027, we will mobilize pastors, train and equip next generation leaders, and serve the local community through various outreach activities. One of the most significant ways we will serve the community is through strategic student outreach. March 9-15, 2027, MSI will send out a team of volunteers allowing us the potential to reach 200 educational institutions at different academic levels. We will also provide humanitarian aid- such as clean water- to a needy community.
We are also exploring the possibilities of a medical outreach and sports (soccer) outreach for local youth. Our service projects are dependent upon the permissions we receive from the local government as well as our financial resources.
All of this will lead up to our one-day Family Fair and Festival (Festival Por La Vida) on Saturday, March 13, 2027.
