PUSHPAY TRANSITION REMINDER

Our transition to the Pushpay giving platform is nearly complete. After September 20, 2024, all transactions on our old giving platform will end.  What does this mean for you?

1) Scheduled Recurring Gifts – if have a scheduled recurring gift and haven’t already set up a new one through Pushpay, you will need to do that by September 20.
Here’s how:
  • Use the link  we sent you in an email via noreply@pushpay.com or visit www.pushpay.com/g/mikesilva – please select the recurring gift option, enter your gift details and choose a payment option. When you set up your recurring gift, you will complete the creation of your account. If you prefer, you can also do this by clicking on the Give button above and then click on Give Online.
  • It would greatly help us if you would please choose the 16th of the month for ACH (virtual checks) or the 20th of the month for credit cards as the date your gift is processed. This is the current giving schedule and it will help with our bookkeeping. If you need to choose another date, we understand and encourage you to select the date that works best for you.
  • Once you schedule your donation to MSI through Pushpay our bookkeeper, Becky Hamilton, will be notified immediately and will stop your monthly donation in the old system. If you have any questions or need assistance in setting up your gift in Pushpay, please contact our office at 503.614.1552.

2) Gifts by Check/Stock/IRA – if you give by check, you may continue doing that just as you have in the past. We also have the ability to accept stock gifts or IRA distribution gifts.

3) Receipts – you will automatically start receiving electronic giving receipts, providing more efficient and timely notification of receipt of your gift. We will send Year-End Giving Summaries electronically, so you will have access to this information sooner for tax preparation.
